Before joining Coda Solutions, Dr. Giles held the position of Distinguished Technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). There, he served as Technical Advisor and Chief of Staff for the HPC, AI, and HP Labs business unit, leading the development of supercomputers and HPC clusters that are pivotal in technological advancements across various industries.
Dr. Giles is a renowned expert in his field, holding a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University. He is also the inventor associated with several patents in AI and persistent memory solutions, emphasizing his contribution to the forefront of technological innovation.
His extensive background includes significant projects with NASA and the Department of Defense, where he spearheaded initiatives in machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture. These projects have had profound impacts on operations and strategic planning at high levels, including work on the International Space Station.
